SMS to SMS function
This is perhaps one of the most advanced features of SureSMS. With the SMS-to-SMS feature, it is possible to send an SMS to SureSMS. This SMS is then forwarded to another phone, possibly with a different sender.
Why is that?
If you are in an association and you would like a solution where everyone can send a message to everyone in the association, for example in connection with events, you can do so with this feature.
By creating an account with SureSMS and creating a group, e.g. the Board of Directors, anyone can send an SMS to a number on our site with the text "Board of Directors" followed by the message. The message will then be forwarded to everyone on the board.
This means that individual members don't even need to know the number of those they are sending to. Simple for the sender and privacy for the recipient of the message.
Another example is a housing association that is about to start renovating. With SMS2SMS, you can give one number and one name to the contractors. The contractors can then send one SMS and all members of the association will receive the message.
Free SMS2SMS for all our customers
SMS to SMS functionality does not cost extra in SureSMS. It's part of our service. However, depending on your keyword requirements, you may need to purchase a 2-way solution. At SureSMS, we have created this solution for all our customers, meaning we have a 2-way solution that our customers can use for free. BUT, it also means that this is shared between customers. Therefore, you can only get the keywords that are available. If one customer has already taken a keyword, you will have to choose another.
Create 2-way solution for free choice
That's why some customers choose to buy their own 2-way solution. This way, they can freely choose keywords and possibly also the mobile number to which it should be sent. If you buy your own 2-way solution, you are not dependent on others, the possibilities are greater and the hassle of choosing keywords that suit the individual apartment is reduced.
There are different products available, but whether you choose our hosted SIM solution or a Virtual Long Number, you have unlimited numbers and a free choice of keywords.
