Country-specific opportunities and limitations

When sending SMS messages, you must comply with the rules of the country you are sending to. So if you send an SMS to a French phone number, you must follow the rules that apply in France. The same applies to England, Germany and all other countries. Each country also has different options for sending. For example, in some countries you are not allowed to use an alphanumeric sender ID (text - e.g. ServiceSMS) and in other countries you must have an approved sender ID.

Below you can read the rules for each country. It is important that you comply with the laws of each country. If not, we may close your account immediately to avoid our access to that country being blocked.
